I didnt get a chance to buy the new single by Blur, my favourite band, a limited edition specifically for Record Store Day. I watched the man in front of me in the queue take away the last copy from Rough Trade. Fair enough, I hope he enjoys the record. As long as he actually listens to it unlike the cunt who is selling this. Rough Trade says this record cost £5 (it still has the fucking sticker on the sleeve) but this guy is selling it for £250 on ebay. ‘This comes in a generic Parlophone sleeve and is in MINT CONDITION. It has not been removed from the sleeve or played.’ Why would you do this specifically to make money? You’re ruining it for the rest of us! Remember what Record Store Day is about, guys.
Happy record store day, kids →
